7. C/C++ programmer for visualization field (C201105/1)

   Duties

   The primary task of the visualization team is to model and visualize the terrain, the road network, the buildings and lots of other landmarks in 3D in low-performance embedded systems, as compared to desktop computers or PS3 devices. This alone is a professional challenge to even the best programmers; however, there are a number of other prime requirements that must be met, such as responsively and dynamically reacting to the unpredictable changes of the environment in the real world, which is less frequent in a games development environment.

Software tester

1. Field Tester (FT-201112)

   Duties:

   • Testing NNG’s navigation products, especially in Europe (occasionally in Hungary)
   • Preparing field tests by working out field test plans and routes, arranging accommodation and infrastructure
   • Carrying out and documenting field tests
   • Testing software under development in the company’s central offices in Budapest, developing relating test cases, preparing documents

   Requirements:

   • Experience and background in IT, programming and testing
   • Category B driving license
   • Basic knowledge of car customization and problem solving (knowledge of operating a car, basic familiarity with electricity)
   • Familiarity with the rules of the Highway Code in various countries
   • Flexible attitude, a high level of problem-solving skills, organizational skills

   Duties:

   Conducting professional tests on navigation-related maps and other content, and preparing test-related documentation. The tests are carried out on PC emulators and by using automatic testing devices.

   • College/university degree (primarily in cartography, GIS, geography or other geography-related field)
   • Quality-oriented attitude
   • Familiarity with GIS databases
